WHAT WE BELIEVE...
About God:
He is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

About Jesus:
He is fully man and fully God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice that satisfies the wrath of God. He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God as our High Priest and Advocate.

About the Holy Spirit:
His ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.

About the Bible:
The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.

About Man:
Adam and Eve were created in the image of God, but fell into sin. Now all people are born with sin and spiritually dead. Only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can we be saved, have spiritual life, and eventually eternal life.

About Jesus' sacrifice:
His shed blood and his resurrection provide the only means for the justification and salvation of mankind.

About the Ordinances:
Water baptism and Communion are given to the church to be observed until Jesus returns. They are a form of remembering what Jesus did for us and are not a means of salvation.

About Jesus' return:
He will bodily return at the time of the Father's choosing, however, that moment can be at any time (imminent).
It is called the "Blessed Hope" and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.

About the Resurrection:
All who have died will be resurrected.
Believers will be resurrected to everlasting life with Jesus Christ.
Unbelievers will be resurrected to everlasting judgement and conscious punishment.

About the true church:
It is composed of all people who have been born again by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ as God's Son and sacrifice. Jesus is the head of the church. We will strive with other churches to the degree that they hold His truth. This is done through hymn sings, community Bible studies, and supporting various food pantries.
